Houyet has now its own motorhome area!
Opening on Friday, October 31, 2025
As a reminder, this project is part of the Wallonia Recovery Plan, launched in 2022 to improve public facilities for motorhome visitors and to promote sustainable, local tourism.
Houyet, the selected municipality, received a €272,000 grant under this plan, for a total investment of €532,000.
The area has been developed on the site of Camping de la Lesse, a prime location in the heart of the village, near the Lesse River and the RAVeL network.
It offers 18 modern, fully equipped pitches (electricity, waste disposal, water, Wi-Fi), accessible all year round.
Location:
Rue Saint Roch 65, 5560 Houyet
GPS: 50.193360° 5.003318°
Beyond the creation of a new reception facility, this project represents the first step in revitalizing the Campsite.
It is part of a comprehensive tourism redevelopment vision, driven by the Val de Lesse Management Plan, which aims to enhance the area’s tourist appeal while showcasing and preserving Houyet’s exceptional natural and landscape heritage.
